Uzungöl, one of Trabzon’s and Turkey’s most important tourist destinations, experienced a surge of visitors during the Ramadan Bayram holiday. Throughout the 5-day holiday, Uzungöl welcomed local and foreign guests despite occasional showers and intermittent sunshine. Over 10,000 vehicles entered the tourist center during the holiday.
Hotels, cafes, and restaurants in Uzungöl served their customers with almost 100% occupancy rates, while local and foreign tourists from various parts of Turkey and Arab countries enjoyed a pleasant holiday. Thrill-seekers had the chance to paraglide, depending on weather conditions, and the bustling holiday season brought hope to tourism professionals before the summer season.
Business owners in Uzungöl advised domestic tourists who wish to visit Uzungöl and spend their holidays in the Eastern Black Sea Region to make early reservations.
