“Astoria Grande” 800 yolcusuyla Trabzon’a ikinci kez döndü

Rus turists who arrived in the city with the 1200-passenger capacity, 193-meter long and 30-meter wide 11-story cruise ship named “Astoria Grande” left the port to see the historical and touristic places in Trabzon after their procedures.

Muzaffer Ermiş, the General Manager of Trabzon Port Operations Inc., said that they were pleased to host the “Astoria Grande” cruise ship for the second time in Trabzon Port.

Ermiş stated that many tourists have come to the city this year and they thought that the arrival of Russian tourists by cruise ship would create awareness.

Ermiş reminded that the cruise ship had about 400 passengers when it first arrived in Trabzon last month and said, “Now the number has reached 800. This number will be one thousand for the next trip. It’s a very beautiful ship. We enjoy hosting this ship in our port.”

Alper Değer, the representative of the organizing company, stated that they visited Istanbul, Cesme, Amasra, Sinop, and Trabzon ports with the passengers they received from Sochi.

Değer, who said that they usually organize weekly tours, stated, “Our passengers enjoy visiting Turkish ports. They visit historical and touristic places. Our visit lasts for a day. Our passengers take a land tour. They visit the places to see and visit. In the evening, we pick up our passengers and leave again. We will go from here to Sochi. We will have another week-long Turkey ports tour by picking up new passengers from Sochi.”

Değer emphasized that the ship, which has a capacity of 1200 passengers and 450 personnel, will continue its voyages until October 29th and stated that they plan to close the season with 15 trips and make more tours next year.
